How to Post Sora Videos to Instagram Without the "Made with AI" Label

Reels and Stories are perfect for Sora clips — short, vertical, motion-first. But drop one in and Instagram tends to attach a “Made with AI” label, with its “AI info” panel a tap away. Before you start cropping in a panic, it helps to know that two different marks are in play, and only one of them is causing the label.

Two marks, one label

A Sora export carries both a visible watermark (the animated Sora logo that floats across the frame) and an invisible C2PA credential baked into the file’s metadata. They feel like the same problem, but they aren’t.

Instagram’s “Made with AI” label is triggered by the invisible credential. When you upload, Instagram reads the C2PA record, sees “made with AI,” and applies the disclosure — across feed video, Reels and Stories alike. The visible logo is just something your viewers see; it isn’t what flips the label.

Removing the label with a native re-encode

Metadata-level problem, file-level fix. 1. Export the Sora clip — watermark-free if your plan allows, at full quality.
2. Save it to your iPhone (AirDrop or in-app save) so it’s in Photos.
